Comox Library
is now in their new location. The Library is sporting Pearl Ellis Gallery
information on their flat screen display similar to the Air Port, so be sure to
watch for that when you visit. It can be found in the reading lounge near
the fire place.
The library also is allowing
us to organize art displays for their walls. The first featured artist in the
Comox Library will be JUDI PEDDER until October 31st.
Pearl Ellis Gallery welcomes
our latest Corporate supporter:
QUALITY FOODS
in Comox who are now running the
Pearl Ellis Gallery schedule on their Reader Board and ad tents on their tables
inside the store. Thanks!
Note* We are on track for a
record number of visitors this year.... we welcomed our 3,000th visitor during the Members
Show in June, and to date (Aug. 17) we have had over 4,200 visitors through our
doors. 600 + visitors came through during the Photography Show in conjunction
with Photo Fest.
SATELLITE GALLERY at the Comox Community Rec
Centre on Noel Avenue:
Since January 2008 we have had
access to the 4 x 7 foot display cabinets located in the Hallway at the Comox
Rec Center. One cabinet contains information about the Gallery, while the
others are rotating showcases with Gallery Members work on display. The displays
are changed every two months. Remember, you can purchase any artwork displayed
at the Rec Center through the Pearl Ellis Gallery.
2009 COMOX VALLEY CALENDAR:
The calendar is now on sale
through the PEARL ELLIS GALLERY. You can purchase using Visa, or MasterCard,
and the tax is included in the price of $15.00. Every purchase is directly
supporting the Gallery, so if you normally buy them anyhow, consider buying them
at the Pearl. We also have a great selection of Hasty Notes and Art Cards.
