ARTIST'S WORK APPEARING AT
THE
COMOX LIBRARY

I have always
had a great interest in art forms and shapes. As a
Birthday gift when I was 15 my mother gave me art lessons
with a Prof. Wolfarth in Red Deer, Ab.. In high
school I belonged to the Art Club and tried a variety of
mediums and styles. When I started working I didn't
find much time to pursue my art. When my kids were in
school I started sketching and painting again. Then I took a
few art classes through the Calgary Parks Dept., Exention
program.
We retired out
to James River Bridge, Ab.. I joined the Sundre
Art Guild, the Didsbury Art Club and the Olds Art Group.
Each group had a show and sale every year and many guest
instructors.
Since moving to
the Comox Valley I have taken an art class and joined the
Brushworks and the Pearl Ellis Gallery. I am
enjoying part of these groups and have sold some of my work
through them.
